DC Universe's "Swamp Thing" is over. Justin watched an interesting horror short. Matt watched all of season 2 of "Star Trek: Discovery" and all of season one of "The Boys". Other random junk.
It starts as an interest, then you're a fan, now you're a geek.
DC Universe's "Swamp Thing" is over. Justin watched an interesting horror short. Matt watched all of season 2 of "Star Trek: Discovery" and all of season one of "The Boys". Other random junk.
Matt had a bad week except for one really awesome thing and doesn't have much to contribute so Justin takes almost full control and talks about the comics he bought, the insanity of Archie, a tiny bit about Amazon's new series "The Boys" and a few other things. Matt saw Rachel Bloom of YouTube and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" fame LIVE! Better things are coming next week, we promise.
San Diego Comic Con 2019 is over (well, at the time of the recording, it was ALMOST over) and we talk about the biggest news: Doom Patrol, toys, MCU news and more!
Considering how little news there was and how little we did, we sure do talk about a lot of stuff! Mondo should give us money, DC Universe isn't going away, SDCC is coming right up, Justin bought some comics, Matt finally finished "Stranger Things 3" and also watched a lot of "Tiny Toon Adventures".
It was a big week! "Spider-Man: Far From Home" came out and we saw that. Also, "Stranger Things" season 3 came out and we saw that, too! Plus, Justin watched a weird horror movie starring Tiny Tim. The live action "Mulan" got its first trailer. Con exclusive toys suck.
Justin watched the entire "Leprechaun" franchise over the past week. Is it the weirdest and worst horror movie franchise ever? Yes. Did he enjoy it? Also yes. He explains it all to Matt.
The other movie Justin saw was the new "Child's Play" film and he talks about that, too.
"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is coming out on a Tuesday (today) and that's pretty weird.
Matt was on vacation and so had time to get to four movies: a rewatch of "Us", then theater viewings of "Rocketman", "Men in Black: International" and "Toy Story 4". What did he think?
Both the geeks watched the latest episode of "Swamp Thing".
Other various typical nonsense.
Boring stuff. Seriously. Don't listen. Nothing happens in June. Neither of us read comics. Both geeks DID watch Swamp Thing. No movies were seen. Jessica Jones season three doesn't interest us. It's the most nothing episode possible.
On this week's episode, our heroes dive deep into the three new episodes of "Black Mirror", talk about the sudden cancellation of DC Universe's "Swamp Thing" series, chat about comics and take a walk down obsolete technology lane.
"Godzilla: King of the Monsters" is here! And, man, do our guys have a lot to say about it! After that, there's comic talk about "Brightest Day", "Doomsday Clock", "Spider-Man: The Hunted", and "Heroes in Crisis". A bit of video game and TV talk.
"Game of Thrones" is over. What did our heroes think? Matt's pretty much addicted to the DC Universe app. "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" is in a few days and the boys are Godzilla crazy! Justin saw "John Wick 3".
Reunited and it feels so good! Our heroes come to you live from the Wendy's in West Lebanon, New Hampshire to talk about all that's happened in the past couple weeks! On the docket: the second "Spider-Man: Far From Home" trailer, the future of the MCU, the first "It: Chapter 2" trailer, all the hubbub around "Game of Thrones", a smatter of comic talk and more.
Well, here we are, back to our usual shenanigans. We talk about the first trailer for "Swamp Thing", get in some comic talk, Matt's still very in love with "Doom Patrol" and also is finally watching "Game of Thrones".
Matt and Justin...I mean, Booboo Kitty Fuck are joined by special guest Justin from the "Let's Go!" Podcast and the "Let's Go! Comic Show" to talk in depth about the culmination of the first 11 years of Marvel Studios, "Avengers: Endgame".
Justin went to Monsterpalooza and that's really the main topic of the show. Also we talk about the first trailer for "Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker" and a whole bunch of random junk.
What a week! Matt saw "Shazam" and "Pet Semetary" and gives a brief review of the former before the guys dive into a deeper discussion about the latter. The Great 2BG MCU Rewatch is almost at the end as our heroes talk about "Black Panther". Justin watched "Critters: A New Binge". Matt went to Montreal Toy Con. The first look at Joaquin Phoenix's solo Joker movie was released! AND STILL MORE!
Matt is an angry old man about house music and DJs. Justin saw "Pet Semetary" early. Matt caught up on "Doom Patrol." Toy talk, con talk, the usual madness.
Our heroes saw Jordan Peele's latest film, "Us", and BOY do they have a lot to say! A half-hour's worth of stuff to say! So if you haven't seen it yet, skip ahead!
After that, Matt talks about the Motley Crue biopic, "The Dirt", Justin watched "Bone Tomahawk" and "Brawl in Cellblock 99", Matt caught a little of the new series "Love, Death & Robots".
Comic talk, random junk. The usual.
This week is weird because Matt did most of the geeky stuff and Justin really didn't do anything. Still, there's some news to discuss: James Gunn being rehired by Disney and a new trailer for "Avengers: Endgame". Also, the boys rewatched "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2". Oh, and Matt did other geeky stuff.
"Captain Marvel" came out so we start with a spoiler talk of that. Then it's time to talk about "Doctor Strange" in the 2BG Great MCU Rewatch. Plus: "Doom Patrol", comics, and "Leaving Neverland".
