Marvel has been busy fortifying their expansive cinematic universe. Renewing Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and ordering Agent Carter to series. They also have a slew of shows in production for Netflix, set to release in early 2015 and start production this summer in New York, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage which will culminate in a miniseries called the Defenders.
This summer we have Guardians of the Galaxy to tide us over until we get Avengers: Age of Ultron. We have been told that Marvel has been planning out films through 2028, but is Ms. Marvel part of the plan?
We have "news" (consider this a rumor) that ABC's 'The Middle" star Eden Sher has been to the Marvel offices and has been given stacks of comics (for research?). She's also been in Twitter communication with the editor of Ms. Marvel, responsible for her most recent incarnation in the comics.
Personally I'd love to see Katee Sackhoff as Ms. Marvel and I believe this was just a visit to the Marvel offices for a big fan (she does work for the network that owns Marvel.) Is it possible Sher is up for the role of Ms. Marvel? Maybe Jessica Jones? What do you guys think? Was it just a special visit because Sher is a huge comic book geek like us? Was it more? Do you wanna see Ms. Marvel on the big screen? Who would you cast as Ms. Marvel?
