Well they did it. They made Star Wars fans watch the Olympics. If you hadn't been watching at all and you wanted to see this new trailer for Rogue One then tonight you got a good dose tonight. Here's the trailer in case you missed it:

What'd you guys think? Are you excited for these standalone films outside of the Saga films? Is this the beginning of Star Wars over-saturation much in the way of all the comic book films? Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and is set to hit theaters on December 16th, 2016. It stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Mads Mikkelsen as Galen Erso, Alan Tudyk as K-2SO, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Imwe, Ben Mendelsohn as Orson Krennic, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera, Diego Luna as Cassian Andor, Jonathan Aris as Senator Jebel, Jiang Wen as Baze Malbus, Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook, Genevieve O'Reilly as Mon Mothma, Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa, and James Earl Jones as the voice of Darth Vader.
