In this episode we sit down and dig deep into the recent Holiday releases of Wonder Woman 1984 and Soul. There are spoilers for both and for the latest episode of The Stand so beware. We’ll have one more episode releasing very soon and then taking a month off to recharge.
This week we say “see ya later” to The Mandalorian but “hello” to The Stand. We take a look at the very first episode of the new CBS All Access mini-series The Stand, based on the Stephen King novel. We look back at the 1994 mini-series and compare some of the elements of both TV events and the book. Then we wrap up the second season of The Mandalorian and look ahead to the future of the series and the Star Wars universe at a whole.
This week on the podcast we talk about the upcoming premiere of season 2 of Titans as well as looking ahead to The Mandalorian. We also chat about all the things we’ve been watching, playing, and reading. Johnny gives us his true feelings about all the DC Films products.

This week on the podcast we’re wrapping up one of the biggest shows of all time. There’s a short list of shows that maintain the water-cooler fodder title. Most are over due to the nature of binge watching shows that drop all at once, but there’s a few left that make us watch the show live in order to not get spoiled by our fellow workmates the following morning…or on Twitter and FaceBook an hour after it airs. Game of Thrones might be one of the last great destination TV shows and we’re here to say goodbye to this great epic drama. We’ll talk about the series finale and all the things we loved that got us to that point.
