We had heard recently that FOX would be recasting the roles of Storm, Jean Grey, and Cyclops for the upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse. The movie is set to take place during the 80's which means these characters will be teenagers and not full grown adults as we've seen previously with Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and James Marsden. Today, director, Bryan Singer tweeted out this little nugget, giving us a new set of actors:
Alexandra Shipp will play Storm, Sophie Turner will play Jean Grey, and Tye Sheridan will play Cyclops. I'm totally looking forward to this movie and can't wait to see what's to come and hope we get to see a glimpse of Channing Tatum as Gambit! What do you guys think? X-Men: Apocalypse is set to hit theaters on May 27th, 2016 and will star James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Evan Peters, and Oscar Isaac.
