With all the excitement and fervor over last week's Avengers: Infinity War trailer release and the subsequent record breaking ticket presales, it makes sense for studios to want to glomb onto that buzz. And why not keep it within the Marvel family? Marvel Studios and 20th Century Fox released a brand new trailer for Deadpool 2 that gives us a much larger glimpse into what we can expect from the fourth wall breaking Merc with a Mouth.

Anti-Review: War For The Planet Of The Apes
When 20th Century Fox rebooted Planet of the Apes in 2001 the movie going audience breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, Planet of the Apes had been returned to it’s former glory and in the capable hands of Tim Burton. But despite the critical success that Apes was, Fox and Burton never moved forward with a sequel. Perhaps they were afraid they would be unable to match the success of the first. That turned out to be a valid concern.

Review: Deadpool
Going into the theater to see the Merc With a Mouth's first live action solo feature film, I had few expectations. I'm a fan of Ryan Reynolds' comedy work. I knew that this film would be much more adult than all the previous comic book films we've seen in the past. I knew we'd be getting a closer adaptation of Deadpool from the comics than we got in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. My concern was...does it need to be rated R for Deadpool to work?

First Look Photos From X-Men: Apocalypse
As the dust settles from the amazing showing that FOX/Marvel Studios had at this year's SDCC, we're getting more and more information from our favorite shows and upcoming films. One of those films being Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse which had a huge panel of actors at Comic Con. Today we were given a bevy of photos (curtesy of EW.com) that showcase the new additions to the X-Men cast including, Apocalypse, Psylocke, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Jean Grey.
Rupert Wyatt To Direct Gambit Film
The upcoming 20th Century Fox film Gambit, starring Channing Tatum as the fan favorite X-Man Remy LeBeau has found it's director. Among the names up for the job were Bennett Miller (Capote, Moneyball, Foxcatcher) and Darren Aronofsky (The Wrestler, The Fighter, Black Swan), but the job goes to Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Gambler).
Review: Poltergeist (2015)
Before I begin this, I’d like to first insist that I enjoyed this remake of Poltergeist.
All of the actors do well with what they are given. The direction is interesting, bold and well paced. The writing, at the very least, wasn’t as terrible as it could have been. However, as I’ve been putting my thoughts together over the last few days, I continue to find more and more problems with the film.

New Fantastic Four Trailer!
I admit to be extremely skeptical about this film. I love all the actors involved, but I've heard nothing but bad things coming from the rumor mill, and while I know that I should ignore the internet when it comes to these things, I got wrapped up in the early negativity. After the first Fantastic Four trailer, I was admittedly impressed with the perceived storyline. Our family of heroes going to an alternate dimension instead of going into space to accidentally acquire their powers. It's not the traditional storyline, but its also not something foreign to this team. After seeing this new trailer, however, I'm all in and excited to see this reboot to the franchise.
Flash Gordon Searching For Director
A new version of Flash Gordon is coming from 20th Century Fox. The script is being written by J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay (Star Trek 3) with John Davis (The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Predator) and George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau) set to produce the film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, Kingsman: The Secret Service) is in discussions to become the director of the film.
Neill Blomkamp Will Direct The 'Alien' Sequel!
Last month, when Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie) posted concept art designs for a possible Alien film, he set the internets on fire. And today it was confirmed via his Instagram account (and later by 20th Century Fox), that he'll be directing the next Alien sequel. It will be a true sequel in the franchise and not a sequel to Prometheus which is currently set to be released on March 4th 2016. Now...will Sigourney Weaver return?
'Deadpool' Casts Morena Baccarin
Just a few days after finding out that MMA fighter turned actress Gina Carano had been cast as mutant Angel Dust in the upcoming Deadpool film, we find out that the female lead has been cast as well! Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Homeland, Gotham, V) has been cast as the yet unnamed and potential romantic interest for Ryan Reynolds' title character.
