Just a few days after finding out that MMA fighter turned actress Gina Carano had been cast as mutant Angel Dust in the upcoming Deadpool film, we find out that the female lead has been cast as well! Morena Baccarin (Firefly, Homeland, Gotham, V) has been cast as the yet unnamed and potential romantic interest for Ryan Reynolds' title character.
Deadpool will be directed by Tim Miller with the script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland). It's set to star Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, and Gina Carano.
