When 20th Century Fox rebooted Planet of the Apes in 2001 the movie going audience breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, Planet of the Apes had been returned to it’s former glory and in the capable hands of Tim Burton. But despite the critical success that Apes was, Fox and Burton never moved forward with a sequel. Perhaps they were afraid they would be unable to match the success of the first. 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay' Trailer
Its finally here, a full trailer for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' and its awesome. This was my favorite book, simply for the fact of how they resolved this large scoping storyline. I thought the ending was realistic and I thought that it was not the normal way stories end these days. It was gritty and dark and I'm looking forward to seeing it translate to the screen. In this trailer we get to see the fully brainwashed Peeta making public statements against the rebellion, and we see a very strong and determined Katniss fighting against the rebel leaders.
First Official 'Mockingjay' Teaser
We finally get our first real taste of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 with the following teaser trailer that was released over the weekend at SDCC. It's only about a minute long but it shows us actual film footage, whereas all we've seen so far are the two videos hyping up The Capitol's way of doing things.
