Review: Ant-Man
You've seen one Marvel film, you've seen them all...right? I've heard a LOT of negativity going into the production of Ant-Man. Fans of Edgar Wright will likely hate everything about the movie going in because he left the production and they're die hard Edgar Wright fans. Casual fans of the Marvel universe might not care about a movie called Ant-Man. Really? He has the powers of ants? He can control ants? He's the size of the ant? Yet, we're all amped up at the prospect of a movie called Spider-Man. Whether you are interested in this film or not, one thing you can say is that Marvel doesn't fail often with their films. I was heavily interested in this film, mostly due to Paul Rudd's involvement. I'm a big fan of Paul Rudd, since his Clueless days, so I was feeling pretty good about the entertainment value of this film, so let's dig in!
Review: Jurassic World
In the summer of 1993 a little movie was about to come out. It promised of very realistic looking dinosaurs attacking humans in a modern setting. I was fascinated with the idea of Jurassic Park. I couldn't wait to see it, but then I discovered that it was a book before they made the movie. As fast as I could I did as many chores as possible to scrounge up the ten bucks it cost to buy this book in paperback form. I was enamoured with this book. First the cover was beautifully simple. It was a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton logo that was raised a bit off the paper so it was a bit bumpy and 3-D. I read the book in two days, using the 90 minute drive down to Six Flags Great America to read as much as I could (motion sickness be damned!) I fell in love immediately with the author and the story. For my birthday, which was only a week before the release date, my Uncle took me to the movie. From the music, to the story, to the stunning visual effects, this movie had moved me and made me a fan of cinematic story-telling forever. Fast forward to 2015 and I had that same tingly feeling going into the anticipation of Jurassic World.

Ant-Man Enters Production!

Marvel Studios released an official statement announcing the beginning of filming also giving us a plot synopsis and full cast.
'Jurassic World' Visitor Brochure
In anticipation for the newest entry into the 'Jurassic' legacy, some photos have surfaced on Twitter curtesy of @jurassicp2k15 that show us what this new park has in store for visitors. I am so hoping we get some scenes with some deep sea dino giants (like the Mosasaurus) that they hint at in a few of these photos.
