I have been hooked on Black Mirror ever since I saw the very first episode (you know the one. Don't pretend you don't. It's that episode!). Charlie Brooker's dark, though-provoking, Twilight Zone-esque series about the potential dangers of technology in society is absolutely one of the best shows of the past few years and I am dying to see the upcoming fourth season.
The first of Stranger Things was a pop culture phenomenon. The '80s throwback style reminiscent of classic horror films, the stellar cast of child actors and adult actors alike, the superb writing, it all combined to capture the world. And now it's coming back, dropping on October 27th just in time for Halloween!

As we have seen, Netflix & Marvel have been doing a pretty good job with making darker, more serious series that are within the same universe as the films. With the success of 2 seasons of Daredevil and a season of Jessica Jones, it's no wonder they want to expand with adding Iron Fist and Luke Cage. If they can continue with these, they will need to expand on some other lesser known heroes and villains. I've decided that I would take a crack at 5 characters I think would make a good Netflix series. Of course, I am excluding The Punisher from this list mainly because it seems to possibly be in the works and really, who wouldn't want to watch that?!

Last week we got our very first full look at what's to come for the second season of Daredevil. Today, we got part two of that trailer and this one features more Elektra!

Earlier this week rumors started swirling about the release date for Daredevil season two. The internet was in an uproar because the rumor floating about said that it would debut the same night as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This, of course, sparked the Marvel vs DC war again and now we know...it was all for nothing. Netflix and Marvel announced today that all 13 episodes of season two of Daredevil will hit Netflix on March 18th! They also included a new poster and teaser for the upcoming season!
In order to decide my next show for my Binge Watch column I took to Twitter. I asked you all to decide for me and it was an extremely close race between Doctor Who and Supernatural. In the end Doctor Who won out, but since it was so close, after I finish all the seasons of Doctor Who, I will move on to all ten released seasons of Supernatural. I will at that point, go to Twitter to decide the next series I watch and review! Without further delay, here's my review of Doctor Who Season One!
Marvel's Daredevil was a huge hit. It captivated me throughout all thirteen binge-worthy episodes. It was a different view in the Marvel Universe. It gave us a look at the darker side of being a street level hero. Marvel's Jessica Jones takes that even further. Krysten Ritter portrays the angry and "thirsty" private detective Jessica Jones who is thrust into searching for a young girl named Hope. And that's our introduction into her world. Jessica's world is a dark world, and this show is very dark. It's not your usual Marvel production. There's violence, which we saw in Daredevil, but then there's sex. And not just once or twice, the adult content pops up a few times, so be warned. This show is not for the young ones.
Ten days! TEN DAYS! We only have ten days until Marvel's Jessica Jones debuts on Netflix! I can speak for you all, but after the success of Marvel's Daredevil, I can't wait to see what Marvel and Netflix bring to the table with Jessica Jones. It's a lesser known character to the masses but I feel like she can be a big name in the extended MCU. Regardless of my opinions, today we were given another look at the upcoming binge-worthy series with a new trailer.
During NYCC this past weekend, the fine fine people of Marvel Studios and Netflix decided to debut a new trailer for Marvel's Daredevil. Call it a sizzle reel, with glowing reviews of the first season, but what came next was a surprise. We got our first look at season two and with that our first looks at Elektra and Punisher!
