Deep in the darkness of late Thursday night/Friday morning, Netflix released the much anticipated follow up season to Daredevil. It also surprised Netflix subscribers with a first look at the upcoming series, Luke Cage. Take a look by click HERE or the player below!
Cage was first seen in the debut season of Marvel's Jessica Jones in which we saw him say goodbye to Hell's Kitchen in favor of Harlem. He'll be joined by recently transplanted nurse Claire Temple, the healer to our injured street level heroes. Marvel's Luke Cage is described as:
“After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin. Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city - forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury.”
So? What'd you think? Are you excited for the third Netflix MCU series to launch? It'll be the fourth official installment of the Netflix MCU but the third character to debut his own series within the Defenders roster. Next up will be Iron Fist starring Finn Jones as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist.
Luke Cage is set to hit Netflix on September 30th and stars:
