Another Comic-Con day and more Comic-Con news! And boy what a day. There are a fair amount of trailers to post so I'll try not to blather on too much.

Injustice 2 Is Justice 2 The Franchise...Get It?
Injustice 2 is out and I have played it extensively. Before I get into what I think of the game let me admit to something...I am not good at fighting games. At least, not these traditional fighting games. So I’m also approaching this game from the standpoint of someone who wants to learn and get better. That being said, let’s get into it!
Key Characters Returning to Arrow
The first two seasons of Arrow are the main reason why we have such a rich and full DC Television Universe on The CW. The series gave us The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl due to it's success. While the current season has seen a slight return to that fun storytelling, it's also going to give us the return of two fan favorite characters. Deathstroke and Nyssa al Ghul are set to return to Star City!
Heroes & Villains FanFest Chicago 2017!
Heroes and Villains is a convention that celebrates the comic book genre in film, television and in the comics. Meanwhile, Walker Stalker Con is a convention that celebrates the zombie genre, notably The Walking Dead. This year in Chicago the cons mashed up in a glorious team-up effort to combine stars from Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, Sons of Anarchy, and The Walking Dead! When you go to a movie that Michael Bay had a hand in creating you can count on two things. The first is that it will pretty much a non-stop ride. Very few chances to really sit and reflect on what you just saw. Because if you did you’ll start finding all of the flaws in it. And the second is that regardless of how good the movie is, you’ll have a fun time. And that’s exactly what you get with this film, it’s not a great movie it’s just a fun time in the theater.

The Arrow Gets A New Look...And Name?
In the closing minutes of Season Three of Arrow, we saw Oliver and Felicity leaving Starling City. Oliver had given up the mantle of The Arrow and was leaving to be with Felicity. When Season Four starts, it looks like he'll be coming back with a fresh look. Stephen Amell took to Facebook and Twitter to reveal the new look minutes before the panel started at SDCC, he also tagged it "GreenArrow."
Captain Boomerang Cast...On 'Arrow!'
Well we were expecting to see the Rogues on 'Flash' eventually and one key member might be joining them soon...but first he'll be seen on 'Arrow.' Nick Tarabay (Star Trek Into Darkness, Spartacus) will portray Digger Harkness aka Captain Boomerang. He'll make his debut in the seventh episode of the season and then continue into the eighth episode which we know will be the crossover event episode with 'The Flash.'

'Arrow' Casting News
The casting news never seems to end with CW's 'Arrow.' It seems they've added another familiar DC character to guest star. Amy Gumenick (Supernatural) has been cast to play Carrie Cutter aka Cupid in episodes six and seven when 'Arrow' returns for season three. Cupid has a deadly obsession with Green Arrow in the comics, and it'll be fun to see that play out...maybe not so much for Ollie.
'Arrow' Recasts Katana
It was announced a few weeks ago that Devon Aoki would be joining the cast of Arrow for Season 3 as a recurring character. It seems that due to scheduling conflicts, she'll have to leave the show. But fear not, Katana-fans, she's already been recast by someone familiar to the comic book universe. Rila Fukushima (The Wolverine) will be replacing Aoki as Tatsu Yamashiro aka Katana. While we have no confirmation yet, I think its safe to assume we'll be seeing Tatsu in Oliver's flashbacks, but I'm hoping we also get to see her in the present time as well...perhaps fighting alongside Canary, and a fiery red-head named Barbara?

Casting news has been coming fast and furiously this past week as we approach the fall television season. Last week we found out that Devon Aoki was cast to appear in Season 3 of CW's Arrow. She'll be portraying the intriguing and enigmatic character Tatsu Yamashiro aka Katana. All indications lead to her being in Oliver's flashback storyline.
