I fell into the convention circuit back in 2009. At that time in my life I was obsessed with the Sookie Steakhouse books and HBO’s True Blood Series. I met all sorts of cool fans during that time, some of them became my dearest friends. I was welcomed whole heartedly and this was my launching pad to the fan world. 2009 was the first year I attended the San Diego Comic Con. I had heard of it, but knew very little at that time. Luckily a friend had extra passes to share. (I don’t think he realized the con monster he was about to create)

Review: Daredevil - Season One
April 10th, 2015 was a momentous day. Netflix and Marvel gave us all thirteen episodes of the first Marvel series to hit the streaming service, Daredevil. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and is just the beginning of a universe designed for Netflix but one that is still tied in with the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eventually we'll see A.K.A. Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron First and finally The Defenders. All of that will come in time, today I'm here to tell you what I thought of the first season of Daredevil and yes...it did wash away that horrible taste of the Ben Affleck film of the same name.
'Supergirl' Casts Jimmy Olsen!
Typically known for following the superhero exploits of Superman, James 'Jimmy' Olsen, has just been cast to appear in CBS' upcoming series Supergirl starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl . Mehcad Brooks (True Blood, Necessary Roughness, Desperate Housewives) has signed on to portray the sometimes bumbling yet ever lovable photojournalist.
Best TV of 2014
We are totally living in the Golden Age of television. Now now, I know people will argue that, but seriously…we are. Coming up with the top 10 of 2014 seemed easy, but it wasn’t for me at all. There is so much great television that I am harassed daily because I haven’t watched a particular show. I have FX’s Tyrant on my DVR still awaiting a watch. CW’s The 100 is anxiously awaiting a play and the guys on this particular website are at me to get Arrow started. There is seriously not enough time in the day for all of the great T.V. So here I go. My top 10 of 2014 and a few honorable mentions…
