C2E2 2015

C2E2 2015!

I've never been to a Comic Book Convention before, much less as a member of press, but on April 24th through the 26th, I was able to cover C2E2 and I had a blast. Here's a few things I noticed and experienced while I was there. All the photos were taken by my great friend and photographer Liz Domkoski

Director Leaves WW

Director Leaves Wonder Woman

There was great excitement when DC Comics and Warner Bros. announced that Michelle MacLaren (Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones) would be directing the first official live action Wonder Woman film starring Gal Gadot and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is to be DC's first female led film and is a very important film in the DC Universe. Unfortunately, however, they will have to find a new director for the film. MacLaren has left the film, according to a statement from the studio.

Possible Writers

Possible Candidates To Write Captain Marvel Film

Marvel Studios has always done a great job in hiring talented writers and directors for its Cinematic Universe. It seems Captain Marvel is following suit. According to The Hollywood Reporter, writers Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Meg LeFauve (Inside Out) are in talks to write the script about Carol Danvers becoming a super-powered heroine. With Captain Marvel scheduled to be Marvel's first female led film, its important that the story is done very well and sets the table for her joining the Avengers in films to come.

Best TV of 2014

We are totally living in the Golden Age of television. Now now, I know people will argue that, but seriously…we are. Coming up with the top 10 of 2014 seemed easy, but it wasn’t for me at all. There is so much great television that I am harassed daily because I haven’t watched a particular show. I have FX’s Tyrant on my DVR still awaiting a watch. CW’s The 100 is anxiously awaiting a play and the guys on this particular website are at me to get Arrow started. There is seriously not enough time in the day for all of the great T.VSo here I go. My top 10 of 2014 and a few honorable mentions…

Comic-Con 2014!

Well its that time of year again, its Comic-Con time! Providing us with some daily highlights is our on the scene reporter, Jenny Robinson (you should of course follow her awesomeness @robiart!) She was amazing enough to volunteer to help us out as she navigates her way through her sixth SDCC! Throughout the day, everyday, I will update these posts to include all of her tweets, pics, and other various things she provides for us while she's having a great time with all you con-goers out there!

Jason Momoa as Aquaman

Jason Momoa Cast as Aquaman?

Over the last few months rumors have been swirling around the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, that Jason Momoa had been cast in an undisclosed role. He's flat out denied it repeatedly, even laughing at the notion that he'd be portraying Aquaman. But today the internet is saying that it's been "confirmed" that the Game of Thrones star has been cast as Aquaman for the 2016 comic book blockbuster.
