It has happened guys! The impossible has become possible. Over the course of the past week, Disney and Fox have been in talks to hand over all 21st Century Fox film rights to Disney, and Thursday (Dec. 14th), they have come to an agreement, and it only took a deal of $52 billion to make it happen!

It's the moment we've all been waiting for since Peter Parker/ Spider-Man reappeared on our screens in "Captain America: Civil War": a look at the wall-crawlers newest solo film, the first one put out by Marvel Studios since their deal with Sony Pictures almost two years ago. And, man, did this trailer deliver.
Sony & Marvel Have Found Their New Spider-Man!
After an extensive casting search filled with rumors almost daily about who might next play Peter Parker in the upcoming Sony/Marvel film, we finally have news! Marvel announced that Tom Holland (The Impossible, Wolf Hall, In the Heart of the Sea) will play Spidey in the next film due to be released on July 28th, 2017. He should also make his cinematic debut in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War film due to be released on May 6th, 2016.
Spider-Man Is Coming Home!
In a deal with Sony and Marvel Entertainment, Spider-Man is coming home...sort of. Part of this new deal allows a NEW Spider-Man to be in an upcoming Marvel Film. Sony will then release the next installment in the Spider-Man franchise on July 28, 2017 with Marvel's Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal co-producing. Marvel and Sony are also working on ways to collaborate by having other MCU characters entering Sony's Spider-verse.
