We found out recently that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would possibly be getting its only spin-off series, but we were left in the dark as to who it would star and on what the story could possibly be focused. Today The Hollywood Reporter has shed a little light as to who might at least be in the cast. Current AoS stars Adrianne Palicki (Bobbie Morse/Mockingbird) and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) are being reported as possibly the two leads.
There's also a rumor of a second spin-off series being developed with the premise of a reinvention of an existing superhero character. There's no confirmation of either one being ordered and season three of AoS still hasn't been ordered, but with the success of all the DC Universe comic book television shows, and Avengers: Age of Ultron about to set more box office records, it would make sense for Marvel to stay ahead of the curve.
