With the first season of Daredevil being an instant smash hit, it comes as no surprise that Netflix has approved a second season that will debut sometime in 2016. Marvel reports that not only will the show make its return next year, but it'll be getting new show runners with Doug Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) taking over for Steven S. DeKnight, who cannot stay with the show as he's got a scheduling conflict.
Up next for the Marvel Netflix Universe, A.K.A. Jessica Jones later this year followed by Luke Cage in 2016 and then later we'll see Iron Fist and The Defenders as well. I'm personally hoping we eventually get a Punisher series somewhere in there...or maybe he can pop up in Hell's Kitchen?
