Flash and Supergirl Crossover Event Confirmed!

By: Dave Clark

We finally got what we've been wanting since they announced the Supergirl series. CBS announced today that Flash will be crossing over to visit Supergirl in National City! Grant Gustin, who currently plays Barry Allen aka The Flash on CW's The Flash will make the trek over to CBS' Supergirl in an episode set to air on March 28th.

We are so incredibly excited to announce something that we have dreamed of happening since we starting making Supergirl. We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone’s enthusiasm and support.

Earlier this year we got a small dose of network spanning crossovers when NBC's (canceled series) Constantine star and namesake, Matt Ryan as John Constantine traveled to Star City to aid Oliver Queen in an episode of Arrow.

Now the speculation can begin! Will this be one of the many multiverses that Barry travels to through one of the breaches in Central City? Is National City and it's resident super-heroine, Supergirl part of the same shared universe as The FlashArrow, and Legends of Tomorrow? Sound off in the comments below!
