Avengers Infinity War Teaser Trailer

By: Justin Pomerville

After 10 years, 18 films, and over 30 characters introduced among the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have finally reached the film that everyone was talking about since we first saw Thanos in the end credit scene of the first Avenger film; Avengers: Infinity War teaser trailer. If you have not seen it yet, here it is:

"There was an idea..." Avengers: Infinity War. There is so much in this trailer and also so many questions left. More than likely we will see more when the actual trailer drops later on (calling it now, it will be in front of Star Wars: The Last Jedi). But before all that, let's  talk a little about this trailer.

There are two things I was not really fan of, Spider-Man's costume and Thanos. Spider-Man's costume, although sort of looking like an Alex Ross' design, seemed very much like a crossover of the Iron-Spider and his classic suit. Give him one or the other please, let's not mesh things together. As for Thanos, I really wanted him to have his helmet in this film. It's such an iconic piece of him, that without it, it feels unfinished. But who knows, maybe he'll put it on later or in the final battle.

But those are the only things I wasn't a huge fan of, beyond that, this film has so much amazing stuff going on. Seeing everyone stand together against a common threat, battling armies of aliens, seeing Thanos with Infinity Stones (the Power and Space stones from the looks of it), Loki getting back into good graces with Thanos, Steve Rogers as Nomad (I'm assuming that), and my personal favorite, a returning Hulkbuster suit.

This film looks like it will be taking place in three different locals, New York City, Wakanda, and in space. This will be good to break up everyone's interactions so it doesn't feel extremely crowded.

But like I said, there are still questions left to be answered; how much of the Black Order will we be seeing, is Hela going to appear, is Thanos actually going to only be in this one film, and where are Ant-Man and Wasp?

Only time will tell. What did you think of the trailer?
