Review: Deadpool
Going into the theater to see the Merc With a Mouth's first live action solo feature film, I had few expectations. I'm a fan of Ryan Reynolds' comedy work. I knew that this film would be much more adult than all the previous comic book films we've seen in the past. I knew we'd be getting a closer adaptation of Deadpool from the comics than we got in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. My concern was...does it need to be rated R for Deadpool to work?
Late Night Game Nights
As a geek dad who loves movies and board games, it’s important to set aside time to do both. Fortunately, I am able to geek out a lot at work with a bunch of guys who also enjoy board games and movies, but just talking about them is never sufficient. You got to play them, you got to live them, you have to make specific time to play them.

'Captain America: Civil War' S.B 50 Spot
It's that time of year. While two teams decide which one is the best in the NFL during this year's Super Bowl, the nation watches and waits...for commercials. In the year of dozens of Geek related films, we all waited to see what new trailers we'd get for those films. First up was Marvel and their new teaser for Captain America: Civil War.
Review: Black Sails - "XXI"
This show just keeps getting better. Episode 303 was awesome!
After last weeks episode of Flint’s crew battling the hurricane, it appeared there was little hope for them. This episode felt so hopeless for that ship. Not only is the crew battling dehydration, starvation and no wind, but they also have to deal with a captain that is a few cards short of a deck.
